Made from eroded sediments cemented into rock
Made in oceans, swamps, deserts - depends on the kind of sedimentary rock
b) Igneous Rocks
Made from cooled and hardened lava/magma
Intrusive igneous: made inside the Earth
Extrusive igneous: made on Earth's surface
c) Metamorphic Rocks
Made from other rocks because of heat and pressure
Made under Earth's surface: it's hot there & there's pressure from moving plates
